SOCIAL PRACTICE

Civic Art is SOCIAL SCULPTURE Each city is an organism sustained by the social networks and public infrastructures built by the communities that live within it. A lifelong interest in creating adaptive public amenities that respond to the people and/or changing conditions at a site led me to a career in public art. The trajectory of my path began with the development of technical skills in aquatic systems, sustainable landscape design, robotics, metal fabrication, and social engagement, and evolved into a practice of regenerative place-making for and with communities.
